I am originally from Casper, Wyoming but have lived in Brazil, Belize and Mexico since leaving Wyoming. I speak Portuguese and Spanish
fluently- I have been a medical interpreter in both languages- and understand several other Romance languages. I graduated from medical school last year and am currently doing medical and psychiatric research with the University of Texas at El Paso. I have lectured at international mental health conferences and will be speaking at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Hawaii in October. I love languages, literature and helping those less fortunate.
